Ages 6 months and up, all abilities including special needs swim lessons in South Torrance and Palos Verdes and most other South Bay areas.
- Your Pool or Ours: Our pool: A clean and warm (88 degrees) pool in West Torrance with Melissa. Outcall: Your location for swim lessons in Redondo Beach & Torrance or Palos Verdes; most other South Bay cities as well.
- Experience: Each water safety instructor has many years of exprience with one on one and small group settings.
- Results: Each instructor has been screened in great detail before being accepted into our network. She must have received great reviews from past supervisors and continue to receieve great reviews from the families she works with.

- Special Needs Swim Pupils: Melissa has 12 years of experience giving swim lessons. For many of those years she was the choice instructor at her swim school when a parent had a child with a physical or mental challenges. She is great with swim students with autism, down syndrome, and those with other physical and mental challenges.
Hello and welcome to Swim 310! We are a network of elite water safety instructors in the South Bay area. We teach water safety first and foremost. Once this has been mastered, other skills such as learning the different strokes, diving, treading water, streamlining, and more are taught. We've been serving the 310 area since 2004 with in-home swimm lessons in the cities of Palos Verdes, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Manhattan beach, Lomita, Harbor City, Playa Vista, Santa Monica, Venice, Mar Vista, Playa Del Rey, and more.
All ages and abilities: For children ages 6 months to 2 years we provide parent and child courses. The purpose of these lessons is to get your child comfortable in the water so that s/he will not be afraid when it's time to learn water safety as a toddler. This is also an amazing bonding experience for both the child and the parent. For ages 2 and up we welcome all ages and abilities, from the non swimmer to the competitive swimmer. We also teach children and adults with special needs. Melissa is phenomenal with special needs swim pupils and gives lessons from our heated pool (88 degrees) in West Torrance.
Our network is composed of those swim instructors who are the very best at what they do. And to prove it we don't require that you purchase a block of several lessons. You simply try an instructor for one initial lesson and if you like her you pay as you go. Each instructor has her credentials listed on her web page.
Our instructors have all been trained and certified in water safety (WSI) by the American Red Cross or a swim school certified to teach WSI. Spefific credentials and training are on each instructors web site linked to the left.
