Please have the following....

• Minimum three summers experience giving swim lessons. We occasionally make exceptions for those with two years of experience if the candidate shows exceptional teaching skills and maturity.
• Be Red Cross certified in Water Safety Instruction (or similar training by a reputable swim school) and CPR for infants, children, and adults.
• Have the right personality....be great with kids, have patience and enthusiasm and a knack for getting others to overcome their fears and become gret swimmers.
• Live in or near the South Bay cities of Torrance or Redondo Beach or this general area and be looking for a swim instructor and water safety job for the summer with at least 10 hours per week and up to 30 hours per week, have transportation to go to the client's pool, or have your own pool to give lessons at. You will create your own schedule, so can do all of your lessons 2 days per week or spread them out over 5 or 6 days.
